5 of Spades: S +L. SAIL. Betraying Sails. What is betrayal? It is to focus on the Opposition, to spend your energy by focusing on the wrong thing; or to directly assist the Opposition; to pretend to be a friend when it is really better to be the enemy. This has a similar aspect to the 7 of Spades, but the reverse. It is to win by giving away secrets or knowing advice to the Opposition or enemies of a person. Whereas the 7 of Spades is also to cause one to become self-defeated, but with help. 5 of Spades means, "someone is betraying you." "self-delusion" or "self-deception" or "wishful thinking in vain" is the 7 of Spades.
