The Nine of Swords indicates that things are not as bad as they seem, as if the Transient is waking up from a bad dream. “awakening from a dream in which there is much trouble and all ways are blocked, to find that it was but a dream after all.” -Waite
– one awakens as from nightmare, things not as bad as feared.
9 of Swords: S + P. SOAP. “It all comes out in the wash.” I fall into a wash tub. Here I see some things taken as permanent stains fading out. earlier cards, for this is the card of enlightenment about something which was misunderstood. This is a card of relief.
